Founded in 2009, Global Stewards Institute (GSI) is a U.S. tax-exempt, 501(c)3 non profit organization working transnationally to educate future global leaders, peace builders and agents of social change.
OUR VISION
GSI is committed to creating a more peaceful world by offering multicultural and intergenerational graduate-level educational study/travel experiences at sea and in ports across the globe.
WHAT WE DO
GSI has embraced diversity, sustainability and social justice through its challenging experiential programming and approach to academic excellence and service learning within a global context.
OUR COMMUNITY
GSI’s transnational knowledge community is composed of an international team of faculty, global scholars, staff and volunteers who are engaged in delivering study/travel/service programs centered on global leadership, conflict resolution and citizenship. The GSI team has extensive experience in higher education, management and sustainability.
